At Kiawe Rentals, we believe in transparency. We want to ensure you have a clear understanding of all potential charges associated with your equipment rental. Please review the following list of standard fees and optional charges.

Standard Rental Fees

These are common charges that may apply depending on your specific rental needs and how the equipment is returned.

Delivery and Pickup

• We offer convenient delivery and pickup services for all our equipment.

• The fee is based on the distance from our Wahiawa location and the size of the equipment. Please contact us directly for a personalized quote.

Fuel Charge

• All equipment is rented with a full tank of the correct fuel.

• To avoid extra charges, please return the equipment with a full tank.

• If equipment is returned with less than a full tank, a refueling service charge will be applied. This charge includes the cost of the fuel plus a service fee.

Cleaning Fee

• We expect our equipment to be returned in reasonably clean condition, allowing for normal use on a farm.

• A cleaning fee will be assessed if the equipment is returned excessively dirty (e.g., caked with mud, filled with debris, stained). The fee is based on the time and labor required to return the equipment to a rentable condition.

Late Return Fee

• Your rental agreement specifies a return date and time.

• If you need to extend your rental, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

• Equipment returned after the agreed-upon time without prior arrangement will be subject to a late fee, calculated at the standard daily rental rate for each day it is overdue.

Optional Services

You can add the following services to your rental for added convenience and peace of mind.

Kiawe Rental Protect Plan

• This optional plan limits your financial responsibility for accidental damage or theft of the rented equipment.

• The fee for this plan is 15% of the total rental cost.

Taxes

Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET)

• All rental fees, services, and other charges are subject to the current Hawaii General Excise Tax.

We encourage you to ask any questions you may have about these charges. Our goal is to provide you with a smooth and straightforward rental experience.
